VPN by Google One now available on iOS platform

Google has announced that VPN by Google One is now available for the iOS platform, allowing iPhone and iPad users to take advantage of its privacy and security features.

As with Android, Google One members on Premium plans (2 TB and higher) will access the VPN via the Google One app on iOS.

Members can share their plan and VPN with up to five family members for no additional charge, allowing them to all use the VPN regardless of whether they use an Android or iOS phone.

Moreover, Google has expanded the VPN service to ten additional countries: Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Ireland, Iceland, Finland, Denmark, Belgium, and Austria. The company will soon expand its VPN service into more countries.

Google One VPN also got three new features. (1) Safe Disconnect, which allows users to access the internet only when the VPN is activated, (2) App Bypass, which allows specific apps to use a standard connection instead of the VPN, and (3) Snooze, which temporarily disables the VPN.

VPN by Google One launched on Android for the first time in 2020. It safeguards your information by routing it through a highly encrypted tunnel operated by Google via its secure global servers.

A VPN is a must-have, even more so if you want to secure your connection while using a public network, prevent hacker eavesdropping, and avoid online tracking by concealing your IP address.
