NetEase Games releases MuMu Player, first Android 11-based emulator

NetEase Games has launched the new test version of MuMu Player 11 (Beta), the world's first Android 11-based emulator, which features improved performance, stability, and compatibility with mobile games.

MuMu Player is a free software application that emulates Android devices, allowing players to run various mobile games and apps on a PC.

The Android emulator ensures stability, high control sensitivity, high-quality graphics, and optimized frame rates for a more fluid experience with popular mobile games, even on low-end PCs. MuMu Player has released the following versions to date: MuMu Player (Android 6), MuMu Nebula (optimized for low-end PCs), and MuMu Player 9. (Beta).

MuMu Player 11: The first Android 11 emulator for PC

Currently, most Android emulators only support Android 7 or Android 9 OS. MuMu Player 11 (Beta) is the first emulator on the market to support Android 11, which builds on previous Android versions by adding features to ensure user security and control. MuMu Player 11 (Beta) also improves user privacy and device security due to this upgrade.

With the Android 11 system at its core, this new beta version resolves issues with low-end devices failing to install games/apps, allowing users to enjoy the latest and most popular titles.

More stable performance with low memory settings

While the relatively new Android 11 operating system consumes more storage space, MuMu Player 11 (Beta) can run large-scale games smoothly with a small amount of memory. The new emulator has been optimized significantly for use on low-end computers. In comparison to other emulators, MuMu Player 11 (Beta) requires only 1GB of memory to run heavy games. Players no longer need to be concerned about delays caused by the emulator consuming an excessive amount of memory.

Vulkan support to run more games

This new version is the first Android emulator to support Vulkan, the open-source, low-overhead API standard for 3D graphics and computing. In simple terms, Vulkan is the next generation of graphics processing interface, maximizing the use of mobile phone functions and significantly improving game frame rate stability while minimizing CPU overhead — an advantage for hardware-intensive games.

MuMu Player 11 offers high frame rates of up to 120 FPS

MuMu Player 11 (Beta) has optimized frame rates for large-scale games, supporting up to 120 frames per second (FPS).

Users can benefit from image quality optimization, which is displayed on the emulator window, as well as crisper graphics, thanks to this version's 15% increase in frame rate over the previous version. MuMu's high frame rate will provide a more immersive and authentic experience for those who enjoy competitive fast-paced shooters.
