Mobile battle royale PUBG Mobile has announced a crossover event with action RPG third-person shooter game Warframe. In this collaboration, PUBGM players will be able to earn several rewards, such as free skins and other Warframe-themed items, by accomplishing in-game event missions.
The PUBG Mobile x Warframe crossover began on March 10 and will run until April 19, giving players plenty of time to log in and obtain the items.
The crossover event will be divided into several stages. Currently, there is a limited pre-event running from March 10 to 23. There will be a series of challenges to unlock various Tenno outfits throughout this period. The two available skins are the Umbra variant of the Excalibur Warframe and Wukong Prime.
After March 23, the next stage of the Warframe collaboration will be revealed when PUBG Mobile's 1.9 Update is released. Players can expect additional exclusive skins and in-game events.
Although not all of the features included in the Version 1.9 Update have been revealed, the update will include changes to the Erangel bridge.
For those unaware, PUBG Mobile is based on the popular PC battle royale title PUBG: Battlegrounds. PUBG Mobile is available on iOS and Android. Its gameplay is like this. Up to one hundred players parachute onto a remote island for a winner-takes-all battle royale. They must locate and scavenge their own weapons, vehicles, and supplies in order to defeat every other player in a visually and tactically rich battleground that forces players into a constantly shrinking play zone.
PUBG Mobile has done several crossovers with different titles, such as League of Legends' Netflix series Arcane and American movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, among others. It also has an ongoing collab with the hit anime show Jujutsu Kaisen, which will conclude on March 15.
Meanwhile, Warframe is a popular action RPG third-person shooter game developed and published by Digital Extremes and released in 2013. The shooter game is set in a futuristic science-fiction world in which players assume the role of a Tenno, a ninja-like race of ancient warriors who have been resurrected from crystallization to battle four factions of relentless evil using the power of armored suits called Warframe.
