Apex Legends Mobile to launch in PH, 9 more countries next week

Respawn Entertainment has announced that Apex Legends Mobile will officially launch in the Philippines and nine more countries next week.

While no specific release date was mentioned, players will soon be able to download the free-to-play battle-royale shooter from the Google Play and Apple app stores.

Where will Apex Legends Mobile's initial launch be available?

The limited launch of Apex Legends Mobile will be available to the following 10 countries:
  • Philippines
  • Argentina
  • Colombia
  • Mexico
  • Peru
  • Indonesia
  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Australia
  • New Zealand

How many legends will there be in Apex Legends Mobile in the initial launch?

While the developers intend to include all legends in the game's mobile version, only a select few will be available during the regional launch.

Apex Legends Mobile's regional launch will feature the following 9 legends:
  • Bloodhound
  • Gibraltar
  • Lifeline
  • Wraith
  • Bangalore
  • Octane
  • Mirage
  • Pathfinder
  • Caustic

Will there be cross-play support for Apex Legends Mobile?

It will not support cross-platform gameplay between PCs and consoles, as it is built specifically for mobile.

What are the minimum specs required by Apex Legends Mobile?

For you to play Apex Legends Mobile smoothly, here are the game's minimum system requirements.

Minimum Android specs for Apex Legends Mobile

  • Android 8.1
  • Open GL 3.0 or higher
  • 3 GB free space
  • At least 3 GB RAM
  • Screens size: N/L/XL

Minimum iOS specs for Apex Legends Mobile

  • iPhone 6S or later
  • OS version: 10.0 or later
  • CPU: A9
  • 3 GB free space
  • At least 2GB RAM

Game publisher EA Games noted that Apex Legends Mobile is still in development and is being optimized to run on various devices. It can't run on iOS mobile devices with less than 2GB RAM and Android mobile devices with less than 3GB RAM. However, Android mobile devices with at least 2GB RAM from the following mobile brands are supported: Vivo, Oppo, Huawei, Motorola, Samsung, Lenovo, and Xiaomi.

To recall, Apex Legends Mobile entered into the closed beta test (CBT) stage in the Philippines in May 2021. Another CBT was launched in August 2021 with the inclusion of Indonesia and Malaysia.

After several tests, it went into soft launch in February 2022.
