Team Pacquiao GG enters Wild Rift with ex-AXS roster

Manny Pacquiao-led esports organization Team Pacquiao GG (TPGG) has entered League of Legends: Wild Rift by acquiring the roster of AXS. TPGG's squad is named Team Underground (UDG).

Team Underground (UDG) - Wild Rift roster is composed of the following:
  • Don - Baron Lane
  • Sayonara - Jungle
  • Mitsura - Mid Lane
  • Lara1 - Dragon Lane
  • Orthros - Support
  • Cookiez - Substitute
  • Karlll - Substitute

The famous Philippines esports caster, Shin Boo "Sh1nboo" Ponferrada, will serve as the team manager.

The team will compete in the group stage of Wild Rift Champions SEA (WCS) - Philippines, which will take place on February 25. They qualified for the event via the qualifiers and will now look to bring home the championship title following their acquisition by Team Pacquiao GG, an esports organization founded by the boxing legend Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao.

To recall, Karlll returns to the Wild Rift esports scene under Team Underground following a suspension for violating age restrictions. Alongside him are former Amihan Esports teammates Mitsura, Lara1, and Orthros. The only member who is currently missing is Jelson, who is playing for Nigma Galaxy.

Given that Amihan Esports was once one of Team Secret's biggest rivals before disbanding in July 2021, the upcoming rematch between the two teams in the upcoming WCS - Philippines 2022 may be something to look forward to.

Players can watch Team Underground battling it out in the WCS Philippines on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook.
