Rex Regum Qeon (RRQ) has been crowned the champions of Wild Rift Champions SEA Philippines (WCS PH) after defeating Fennel Adversity, 4-1, in the grand finals on April 10, 2022.
Fennel Adversity ignited Game 1 with a swift 16-minute game victory with an 8-4 kill lead against RRQ.
Rex Regum Qeon made a comeback in Game 2 with a 9-3 kill score. A team clash in the Ocean Drake at the 15-minute mark saw RRQ take down four of Fennel's members to gain an advantage in the match. Gameplay for the RRQ PH squad snowballed through the next three games, securing the victory ultimately. RRQ recorded impressive kill scores of 8-4, 24-11, and 22-11 in Games 3, 4, and 5.
With their win, RRQ PH has bagged USD 30,000 (around PHP 1.5 million) from the USD 160,000 (around PHP 8.3 million) total prize pool and will represent the country in the Wild Rift Championship SEA (WCS SEA) Playoffs.
Meanwhile, runners-up Fennel Adversity took home USD 30,000 (around PHP 1.2 million) and earned a spot in the play-in stage of the Wild Rift Championship SEA finals.
