Mobile brand realme has launched its latest tablet, the realme Pad Mini, in the Philippines.
According to realme, the new tablet is "equipped with excellent entertainment and productivity features housed in a more slim and portable package."
On April 4, realme hosted a livestream event featuring the brand's exclusive realXperience event in South Cotabato, which was attended by regional fans, media, and content creators. Choox TV, one of the country's top gaming personalities and content creators, was also in attendance and led the product's live unboxing.
This launch is significant for the brand because it is the first realme product to launch in the Philippines first, ahead of other markets. This is a follow-up to the wildly successful realme Pad debut last year and is part of the mobile brand's ongoing effort to expand its Artificial intelligence of things (AIoT) ecosystem and product portfolio.
realme Pad Mini is one of the thinnest tablets in its price and size segment. It is designed to be a user's on-the-go entertainment, productivity, and gaming companion.
It features a 7.6mm Ultra Slim Design and a large 8.7-inch display, which makes it ideal for binge-watching, gaming, and non-stop social media browsing.
On top of that, the realme Pad Mini is equipped with a powerful Unisoc T616 octa-core processor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle rear camera, and dual stereo speakers.
Moreover, the realme Pad Mini packs a massive 6400mAh battery, the segment's largest capacity, as well as an 18W Quick Charge support that enables the device to charge significantly faster.
Other specs include a 5MP selfie camera, reverse wired charging support, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. The device weighs 372 grams and measures 211.8 x 124.48 x 7.6 mm. It comes in two color options: blue and gray.
