According to the March 2022 Netflix ISP Speed Index for the Philippines, PLDT, Globe Telecom, Converge ICT Solution, and Sky Cable tied for the top position, recording speeds of 3.4 Mbps. Compared to February 2022 rankings, Globe and Converge have maintained their rankings, while PLDT and Sky moved up one spot. Moreover, the current ranking is the same as in January 2022.

Based on the report, Converge ICT Solution, Sky Cable, and Royal Cable offer two different types of internet, including fiber and cable. Meanwhile, PLDT and Globe Telecom have fiber and DSL (digital subscriber line) networks.

Netflix's ISP Speed Index identifies which internet service providers provide the optimal Netflix viewing experience during prime times. The chart is based on subscriber data collected from the online video streaming platform.

Netflix values the speed index because videos load quickly on networks with low latency, packet loss, and jitter. Otherwise, users may encounter issues while watching videos, such as buffering and pixelization.

PLDT, Globe, Converge, and Sky's score was comparable to other countries that enjoy world-class Netflix speeds. Among the countries that achieved the same 3.4 Mbps speeds are Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, Finland, France, Greece, Iceland, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Paraguay, Poland, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Trinidad & Tobago.
