Garena Free Fire has released the full version of its collaboration music video with the famous K-pop group BTS.
The music video features the BTS's song, "Idol," the lead single from the band's 2018 album Love Yourself: Answer. The original music video has a massive 1 billion views on YouTube.
The nearly 4-minute Free Fire x BTS collab music video incorporates the mobile battle royale game's scenes and the BTS-designed in-game costumes and emotes for the crossover project.
Moreover, Free Fire's characters, including Leon, Alvaro, Hayato, Shirou, Wolfrahh, Maxim, and The Monkey King, can be seen bopping to the beat.
Besides the in-game events and bundles, Garena hosts a roster of virtual and real-life activities with the Bangtan Boys. For instance, The Free Fire x BTS Show, a two-episode variety show hosted by members of the band (Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, and Jimin), was an excellent way to bring the battle royale to life.
Free Fire has done several collaborations with different global music icons, such as DJs Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alok, and KSHMR for its song "Reunion"; and 2WEI, Joznez, Isra, and Rachel West for Free Fire Squad Beatz's debut track "BEATz Go Boom."
For those unaware, Free Fire or Garena Free Fire is a mobile battle royale shooter game played in a third-person perspective. The players' mission is to survive by eliminating opponents and acquiring weapons, ammo, and other equipment.
More surprises for the Free Fire x BTS crossover event are expected to be revealed next week.
