Wemade has released Mirage, a global NFT character staking web-based game for its MMORPG title MIR4.
According to Wemade, Mirage is a "multiverse of MIR4." It is set in a "parallel world" where the characters of MIR4 exist. However, both worlds are "interlinked in the ecosystem powered by Draco."
Hidden Valley Capture is the first chapter of Mirage. It is a four-week seasonal battle, where each hidden valley has two harvest times scheduled. Players can enlist their character NFTs into Hidden Valleys (Bicheon, Snake Pit, and Redmoon) to mine nodes that yield Darksteel and Septaria as rewards.
How to enlist MIR4 NFT characters in Mirage?
To enlist your MIR4 NFT characters in the battles of Mirage, go to xdraco.com and head to the Mirage tab.
To participate, players must have a WEMIX Wallet account and add one or more NFT characters to their Mirage roster. Participants who do not have a MIR4 game account may still participate by logging into the WEMIX Wallet.
Vigor, a Pill, is required to enter Mirage's Hidden Valley, which can be obtained in exchange for Hydra, a game token in MIR4.
Each Hidden Valley has a maximum number of characters that can be staked, and once a Hidden Valley is full, other players can try to 'Assault' the valley's weakest character NFT.
If the attack is successful, the lowest-ranked NFT character's staking is removed, and the character has a chance to become wounded, preventing the wounded character from re-entering the Hidden Valley.
Moreover, players can stake up to 5 NFT characters in each Hidden Valley, and if more than 2 characters are staked, additional party bonuses will be granted.
MIR4 Mirage
Mirage takes a "new approach" to NFT character staking, based on the "fundamentals of macromanagement" via "gamification" of MIR4 NFT characters as "playable assets," thereby broadening the economic activity available within the MIR4 ecosystem.
As per Wemade, they will continue developing innovative new systems to expand Mirage, MIR4's multiverse, and expand the inter-games ecosystem's development.
