Coins.ph has announced that the Ronin network was integrated into their crypto and mobile wallet service.
Since its launch on February 28, 2022, customers have benefited from lower gas fees and faster transactions when depositing AXS and SLP into their Coins wallet. Ronin deposits are supported for all Coins.ph platforms: iOS, Android, and Web.
Ronin Network is an Ethereum-based sidechain, a separate blockchain that runs alongside Ethereum to ensure full compatibility. It was developed by Sky Mavis, the creators of Axie Infinity, in order to assist in scaling the game due to the difficulties associated with Ethereum Layer 1.
Sending assets via Ethereum has become costly and time-consuming for managers (Axie owners) and scholars to move assets. Coins.ph's integration with the Ronin network enables users to deposit AXS and SLP into their Coins PH wallets with low transaction fees and faster transaction times.
Since the addition of AXS and SLP in Coins.ph last December, including support for Ronin in the platform has been a top priority in order to service the Axie community and ecosystem.
Scholars and managers throughout the Philippines can now convert their in-game winnings to PHP and cash out more quickly and conveniently.
This update, along with numerous other improvements planned for this year, is part of Coins.ph's ongoing efforts to build on the Play-to-Earn movement's foundation.
Customers simply need to update their Coins.ph app to the latest version to begin receiving AXS and SLP via the Ronin Network.
Coins.ph is available on Google Play and the App Store. Customers must be verified with their ID and a selfie in order to receive AXS and SLP via the Ronin network.
