NFT MMORPG MIR4 has released its March 8 patch, bringing several updates, such as the world boss "Black Flame Arch Demon Nerkan," new time-limited codex, and more. There are also bug fixes and gameplay improvements. See more details about the MIR4 March 8, 2022 patch notes below.
World Boss - Black Flame Arch Demon Nerkan
Every Tuesday at 7 PM, the World Boss "Black Flame Arch Demon Nerkan" will be spawned in random servers.
To detail it out, every Tuesday at 7 PM, a sealed "Nerkan" spawns on random servers based on regional server times and becomes killable at 11 PM when it is unsealed. It can be found by entering "Black Flame Abaddon" via the portal in Redmoon Valley 4F.
World Boss, such as "Nerkan," is a new type of boss monster that doesn't spawn on all servers. It will spawn in random servers, and an alarm message will be displayed on the servers where the boss spawned.
The spawn area "Black Flame Abaddon" is not immediately accessible via Fast Travel Scroll/Jump Scroll, and it only allows a max capacity of 400 players.
PK is enabled in "Black Flame Abaddon," and there is no alignment point reduction as a result of PK. (Experience points will still be lost due to PK death.)
If a character dies via a method other than PK, death penalties such as loss of EXP/items and an extension of the resurrection cool-down period will apply.
After defeating "Nerkan," a large number of Rare to Legendary boxes will be dropped.
Time-Limited Codex
New time-limited codexes were added. Listed below are their name, effect, and required item.
- Blue Tiger's Courage [1] / Hunting EXP Boost 2% / 1 Blue Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
- Red Tiger's Courage [1] / Bash ATK DMG Boost 4% / 1 Red Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
- Yellow Tiger's Courage [1] / Accuracy 10 / 1 Yellow Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
- White Tiger's Courage [1] / EVA 10 / 1 White Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
- Blue Tiger's Courage [2] / Hunting EXP Boost 5% / 3 Blue TIger's Courage Codex Badge
- Red Tiger's Courage [2] / Bash ATK DMG Boost 10% / 3 Red Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
- Yellow Tiger's Courage [2] / Accuracy 25 / 3 Yellow Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
- White Tiger's Courage [2] / EVA 25 / 3 White Tiger's Courage Codex Badge
Codex effect and Codex badge will be deleted on May 5, 2022, at 11:59 PM (UTC+8).
Updates on Clan/Territory
Daily Distribution Limit will be implemented on distributing Clan Resource Distribution and Territory Resource Distribution to members. The Daily Distribution Limit is calculated based on the amount before the fee is applied. Daily Distribution Limit will reset every midnight (UTC+8).
Speed-Ups
Similar to how internal injuries can be recovered with Gold rather than speed-ups, players can spend Gold to accomplish more content if there are insufficient speed-ups.
Here are the additional contents that can be fulfilled through the use of Gold.
- Unsealing: Unsealing sealed box
- Conquest: Promoting Conquests
Craft
The latest patch increases the chance of obtaining Great Success in crafting Epic Permanent Snow Ginseng and Epic Azureum Oil.
Conquest
Due to the increased chance of crafting Azureum Oil, one of the promotion conditions for "Conquest-Training Sanctum" to Level 16 will be reduced.

Alignment Point
With the new patch, players can recover alignment points by hunting monsters with a greater level difference.
Before: Recovers by hunting monsters with a 5-level difference.
New update: Recovers by hunting monsters with a 10-level difference.
Forsaken Badge
The latest update increases the chance of acquiring "Uncommon/Rare Forsaken Badge" by clearing Raid/Boss Raid.
Chat
Aliases of all members are now displayed in Clan chat like Clan leader and Elders.
When a player chats in the Clan chat, the name will be displayed with Alias + Rank.
Alias won't be displayed if the name of Alias and Rank is the same.
Darksteel Merchant
A character must be level 40 to be able to purchase Darksteel from the Darksteel Merchant in Bicheon Valley, Snake Valley, and Redmoon Valley.
Bug fixes and gameplay improvements
Daily defeat/defeated counts are now added in PvP Log based on 24 hours.
The issue of being able to leave the clan during the Castle Siege was fixed.
