KOGs: SLAM! is a free-to-play NFT mobile game inspired by the '90s street game Pogs or Milk Caps. It allows players to earn money by playing the game or trading KOGs NFTs. KOGs SLAM is available on Android (via Google Play Store) and will soon be released on iOS (via Apple App Store). Read on to know more about how to play the game and cash out the tokens you earned.
KOGs: SLAM! Overview
KOGs: SLAM! was developed by RFOX Games, a division of RedFOX Labs, a Southeast Asia-based blockchain venture builder. RFOX Games was founded in 2019 with the mission of creating an ecosystem of interoperable tournament-based games that make use of emerging technologies such as blockchain. KOGs are one of its products.
KOGs is the acronym for Keys to Other Games, consisting of collectible, playable, tradable, non-fungible tokens. KOGs unlock access to tournaments and skins and provide VIP access to special events and virtual metaverses.
KOGs SLAM is an entirely free NFT game that makes use of KOGs. The NFTs, in this case, take the form of collectible KOGs with unique artwork on the front. While you can earn and obtain KOGs through the game's Arena mode or in-app shop, you can also purchase them via the marketplace or mint your own using the KOGs Mint Lab. KOGs SLAM does not require you to buy or mint NFTs to play.
For its gameplay, it is relatively the same as Pogs. After KOGs are stacked up face down on the floor, you will hit the stack with a KOG slammer. Each KOG flipped face-up earns the player a point. After three attempts, the player who collected the most KOGs wins.
This NFT game has two in-game currencies, including KOIN and RFOX. You can use your KOINs to buy some premium packs of Kogs, enter Arena, or convert to RFOX tokens. RFOX, on the other hand, is the utility coin of the game. The cryptocurrency sits on the Ethereum network.
How to play KOGs SLAM?
Download the KOGs SLAM app on Google Play Store. For Apple device users, an iOS version will be released soon. Once downloaded, open it, and create an account using your Facebook, Google account, or Apple ID. You can also opt to play as a guest. After selecting which account to link to the game (remember the email associated with that account), set a strong password (at least 8 digits with a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters). You'll use that account and password later when you log in to your RFOX ID for the tokens.
After that, you can now start with the tutorial of the game. Hold and drag the KOG slammer up, then swipe down quickly to hit the stack.
You can choose between single-player or multiplayer mode. It is recommended to start with the practice mode in single-player to familiarize yourself with the game and then move on to the boss challenge. You immediately receive free "Demo KOGs" when you begin playing the game.
Meanwhile, the multiplayer mode includes Ranked Match, which allows you to compete against other players. There is an Arena where you can defeat other challengers, but it requires 250 KOINs to enter. Additionally, a Tournament mode will be launched soon.
How to earn money in KOGs SLAM?
You can make money in this game by exchanging the in-game currency KOINs for cryptocurrency. You can earn KOINs by completing daily missions such as defeating bosses, winning the ranked match, or flipping a specified number of KOGs during matches.
How to cash out KOGs SLAM KOINs to GCash?
You will need to convert your KOINs in this order: KOIN to RFOX, then RFOX to WAX. The WAX tokens will then be transferred to your Binance account, where you can trade them for other cryptocurrencies such as USDT, which you can then sell for Philippine Peso (PHP) via peer-to-peer trading. Requirements:

- RFOX ID account (go to https://id.rfox.com/ and sign in using the same KOGs SLAM credentials)
- WAX account (go to https://wallet.wax.io/ to sign up)
- Binance account (go to https://binance.com/ to register)
- GCash account
Step 1: KOIN to RFOX
On the game's main interface, tap on the + icon beside the RFOX token in the upper right corner. After entering the amount of KOINs, tap on the Confirm button, wait for the transaction to complete, and the RFOX tokens will appear in the upper right.
Step 2: RFOX to WAX
Log in to your RFOX ID account. Navigate to My ACCOUNT and then to MY WALLET. You will see your WAX address, which should match the one in your KOGs SLAM account. Additionally, you should see the RFOX tokens available for sending.
Next, log in to your WAX account. After logging in, you'll see your WAX wallet address, to which you'll send the RFOX token.
Return to RFOX ID page, then to AVAILABLE RFOX. Enter your WAX wallet address as the recipient, followed by the quantity of RFOX tokens you wish to send. To authenticate the transaction, click send and then enter your password.
Connect your WAX wallet to Alcor Exchange (https://wax.alcor.exchange/). Click on Markets and search for RFOX. When you click it, a dashboard should appear where you can sell your RFOX tokens for WAX. Select Market trade, enter the quantity of RFOX you wish to sell, and click Sell. The transaction is quick and incurs no gas fees. The WAX tokens should now reflect in your WAX wallet. From here, you can either use the WAX tokens to purchase KOGs on the secondary market or send them to Binance for conversion to fiat money.
Step 3: WAX wallet to Binance wallet
Go back to the WAX wallet dashboard and tap on the Send button. Select WAXP, enter the number of tokens you'll transfer, and click Next. You'll now need to obtain the Binance address and MEMO number from your Binance account.
Login to your Binance account, and go to Wallet > Fiat & Spot > Deposit. Copy the address and MEMO details and paste them to the Wax wallet dashboard, then click the Next button and authorize the transaction in the pop-up window that appears. Wait a few moments for the WAX tokens to appear in your wallet.
Step 4: Binance wallet to GCash
In your Binance dashboard, select Trade menu, then Classic or Advanced, and search for WAXP/USDT. Enter the amount of WAXP you wish to sell for USDT, then click sell WAXP.
Following that, navigate to P2P and then Sell. In the Fiat dropdown menu, select PHP, while in the Payment menu, select GCash to find a buyer that can buy your USDT.
And you're done! You're successful in converting your KOINs token to cash.
