The lone invited LoL team is AcadArena. The squad will be bannered by Jermyn "OG Usagi" Moa, Jerome "OG Relevancez" Victoria, John Leomarc "OG Leomarc" Alonzo, Kieron "OG Duck Man" Cronin, and Willian "OG Ego" Cronin. [Update] AcadArena has made some changes to its Orgless LoL roster. Jermyn "Usagi" Moa was replaced by Miguel Enrico "Kaito" Torralba.

According to Sibol, Phase 2 is the playoffs stage, wherein the top eight teams will battle it out to earn the right to represent the Philippines in the 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games).

Meanwhile, tryouts for Mobile Legends and Wild Rift representatives have been concluded, declaring the country's representatives for the said games.

Blacklist International is the country's representative for the Mobile Legends, while LF Adoption and GrindSky Eris for the Wild Rift men's and women's division.

Sibol's 2022 National Team Selection covers qualifiers for CrossFire, Mobile Legends, Wild Rift (men's and women's division), FIFA Online, League of Legends (PC), Free Fire, and Arena of Valor (AoV). On the other hand, the Philippine esports team deliberates who will be considered among the top teams in PUBG Mobile Pro League Season 5.

League of Legends PC is one of the 8 esports titles to be featured in the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam, which will take place in May 2022. This will be the first time League of Legends to be played in the biennial multi-sport meet, as it's not included in the SEA Games 2019, where esports debuted as a medal event.
