Garena has announced that Free Fire's latest campaign, "Squad Beatz," will launch on February 4, 2022. It will bring refreshed interface, exclusive collectibles, new costumes, events, and more. Check out the highlights of the new campaign below.
Free Fire "Squad Beatz" Campaign Overview
The new campaign's plot goes like this. Squad Beatz follows four young people, represented by Free Fire characters, from around the world — Alvaro, Notora, Shirou, and Kapella – who frequently feel out of place and different from those around them. As a result, their determination to prove and express themselves through other means, such as style and music, is strengthened. Squad Beatz embraces each other's diverse cultures and personalities as they battle their way through Free Fire.
As with Free Fire's Squad Beatz, the new campaign aims to empower gamers worldwide to express themselves through vibrant in-game costumes, musical genres, and unique battling styles.
Beginning February 4, Free Fire players can look forward to displaying their fashion trends while also battling in style with their squad, greeted with a revamped interface, exclusive collectibles, and a lineup of in-game missions.
On February 12, a music video featuring Squad Beatz in their customized ensemble will also be released. The theme song will feature a unique fusion of four genres — reggae, funk, pop, and K-pop – representing the four Free Fire characters.
Free Fire "Squad Beatz" Costume Bundles
Here are the costume bundles to debut on the new campaign.
An electrifying shade of blue highlights the Alvaro costume bundle. Alvaro can listen to his favorite type of music, reggae, in complete comfort with a pair of fashionable joggers and kicks.
Notora's fiery costume emits a purple flame. This funky ensemble exudes confidence and joy, making it the ideal choice for when it's time to team up and dance to funk music with her squad.
Shirou is dressed in a smoke-emitting costume. Luminescent accents enhance Shirou's ensemble's overall appeal and give the pop music fan a cool aura.
Free Fire's in-game popstar Kapella is donned in a gem-like two-piece ensemble costume with matching gloves and thigh-high boots infused with K-pop flair.
Boom Boom Beatz Web Event
Players of Free Fire can put their rhythmic sense to the test in the Boom Boom Beatz web event, which begins on February 7. The locally exclusive event will feature four beatmaps featuring original Free Fire songs, which will award attractive prizes to players, including the Switching Steps emote as the grand prize.
Players who complete all four stages unlock a freestyle mode where they can create their own tracks. Players passionate about music can share their brilliant creations with the rest of the world via the Official Free Fire community channels.
