The Season 2 plot goes like this. Ranked Play: Players can expect to begin their Ranked journey alongside the 2022 Call of Duty League season and play alongside the pros.

Free Perks, Killstreak, and Equipment in Battle Pass: Players must prepare to mix up their Loadouts and go for a 12-Killstreak — the Season Two Battle Pass includes a slew of free Multiplayer content.

Valentine's Day in Vanguard: Valentine's Day is celebrated in Vanguard with a themed experience that includes certain Double XP opportunities.

Arms Race and Vehicles: An Arms Race with Armored War Machines is far more than infantry fighting; they involve piloting motorcycles, squad transport vehicles, and tanks.

Casablanca Map (launch): Casablanca, Morocco's shining jewel, is a medium-sized three-lane map set within a lively marketplace. With many structures to explore and scale, anticipate a variety of vertical battles that will necessitate a range of close- to long-range tactics.

Gondola Map (launch): Avoid squinting at this medium-sized, three-lane map. Players can ride on the gondola to travel above a vast valley and fire watchtower, but they need to ensure to exit before the gondola falls off the cliff. Operators can also take advantage of the expansive view provided by this gondola path or head inside the power plant and tunnels for a more up-close battle.

Call of Duty Warzone Season 2 Features and Updates

Nebula V, Redeploy Balloons, and More: Nebula V Ammo and Bombs enable new offensive tactics, while Portable Decontamination Stations provide temporary refuge. Alternatively, use Redeploy Balloons and Bomber planes to take to the skies.

Chemical Factory, Chemical Weapon Research Labs, and Armored Transport: Caldera's new sites of interest are come to liven up those rotations. Axis soldiers monitor these new locations in vehicles and can be located around the island. Defeat them to earn substantial rewards.

Caldera Clash (game mode): Caldera Clash, developed by High Moon Studios, sets two teams of up to 48 Operators (split into Quads) against one another in a Deathmatch filled with thrilling events and power-ups. Caldera Clash is an extension of Clash on Verdansk '84 and Warzone Rumble. It allows Operators to drop in with their Custom Loadout, which can include any weapon from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare through Vanguard, as well as a Field Upgrade. Each kill gives their squad a point, with the team that reaches a predetermined point total first, or the squad with the most points at the time limit, claiming victory for their enormous group.

Rebirth Iron Trials (game mode): This game mode will release later in the season. Rebirth Iron Trials is a Battle Royale variation developed by Beenox based on Raven Software's Iron Trials '84. With its own set of weapons (from Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War) and many rule tweaks to boost time-to-kill (TTK), this mode is designed for its community's most dedicated players. However, gamers of all skill levels should engage if they're looking for a change of pace within Warzone.

Vanguard and Warzone Updates

S.O.T.F. Yeti (new Operators): Task Force Yeti is Nebula V's initial line of defense. Start strong in Season Two with Anna Drake, which is included in the Battle Pass. The new season will also introduce other Operators, namely Thomas Bolt (Launch) and Gustavo Dos Santos (In-Season).

Four New Weapons: Two midrange weapons, comprising KG M40 Assault Rifle and Whitley LMG, are included in the Battle Pass, while the Ice Axe and Armaguerra 43 SMG are scheduled to drop during the season.
