Xiaomi 12 Pro tops global Antutu's list (March 2022)

Software benchmarking tool Antutu has revealed the Global Top 10 Best Performing Flagship and Midrange Phones for March 2022.

Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro dominated the flagship department, while iQOO Z5 topped the mid-range segment, just like the January 2022 list.

The top 10 best-performing Android smartphones covered in the March 2022 list were calculated from March 1 until March 31, 2022, with average scores computed instead of the highest scores to be more standard, according to Antutu.

Xiaomi 12 Pro ranked first in the flagship department, recording an average Antutu score of 981,496 points. It features a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a WQHD+ (1440 x 3200 pixels, 521 ppi) resolution, a 1Hz to 120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate, and a 1500 nits peak brightness. It is also equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM (operating at up to 6400 Mbps), and a UFS 3.1 flash memory.

The second place was grabbed by Motorola Edge 30 Pro, posting an average Antutu score of 978,019 points. Realme GT2 Pro ranked third place, with an average of 970,727 points.

They are followed by Xiaomi 12 (934,881), Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G - SD 8 Gen 1 (919,689), Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G - Exynos 2200 (904,778), Galaxy S22+ 5G - SD 8 Gen 1 (885,440), Galaxy S22+ 5G - Exynos 2200 (862,584), OPPO Find X5 Pro - SD 8 Gen 1 (849,583), and Galaxy S22 5G - Exynos 2200 (839,342).

iQOO Z5 has clinched the top rank in the midrange group, with an average Antutu score of 558,841 points. It flaunts a Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor, a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.

Realme GT Master placed second, posting an average Antutu score of 541,304 points. It was followed by Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite with 531,079 points.

The rest in the charts are Mi 11 Lite 5G NE (514,344), Realme 9 Pro+ (506,761), Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G (501,068), Galaxy M52 5G (484,2570, Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (464,782), OPPO Reno 6 5G (440,040), and Galaxy A53 5G (420,311).

The top ten flagship models in this month's ranking list are equipped with the latest processor, just like the February 2022 list. The mobile phone industry has advanced further with the adoption of the 4nm process by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Samsung's Exynos 2200. Unfortunately, no models equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 are included.

Mid-range phones feature a more diverse range of processors, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, MediaTek Dimensity 920, Dimensity 1200, and Dimensity 900. However, Huawei phones and HiSilicon Kirin chips didn't enter the leaderboards this time.
