Samsung has launched Galaxy A13 and Galaxy A23, the new additions to its Galaxy A-series. Both entry-level smartphones have 4G connectivity, an octa-core CPU, a 50MP quad-rear camera module, and a 5000 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A23 features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with Full HD+ (1080 x 2408 pixels, 400 ppi) resolution. For added protection, it is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The quad-rear camera setup of Galaxy A23 is composed of a 50MP primary lens (f/1.8 aperture, Autofocus), 5MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2), 2MP macro shooter (f/2.4), and 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4). In addition, an 8MP selfie camera (f/2.2) is housed in the waterdrop notch of the display.
Powering Samsung Galaxy A23 (4G) is a 2.4GHz 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor. The platform is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It runs on One UI 4.1 software based on the Android 12 operating system. Moreover, it packs a massive 5000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
On the other hand, the more affordable Samsung Galaxy A13 features a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with FHD+ (1080 x 2408 pixels, 400 ppi) resolution. For added durability, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The quad-rear camera system of Galaxy A13 consists of a 50MP primary shooter, 5MP ultra-wide snapper, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP bokeh camera. On the front, there's an 8MP selfie camera. Unlike Galaxy A23, Galaxy A13 has no camera bump.
Samsung Galaxy A13 (4G) is powered by a 2.0GHz 8nm Exynos 850 octa-core processor, coupled with 128GB of expandable storage and 4GB of RAM. The budget phone runs on Android 12 OS with One UI 4.1 out of the box. Additionally, it packs a huge 5000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
