Mobile brand realme has launched its latest smartphones, realme 9 Pro and realme 9 Pro+, in the Philippines.
The realme 9 Pro+ features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. For added protection, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Also, its under-display fingerprint scanner can measure your heart rate.
realme 9 Pro+ is powered by one of the more powerful in the mid-range segment, the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G. The platform is combined with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage.
Its triple rear camera setup is packed with a 50MP Sony IMX766 flagship sensor, 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide-angle lens, and a 2MP f/2.4 macro shooter. It features advanced Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) that keeps your shots steady. Meanwhile, the selfie camera, housed in the punch hole in the upper left corner of the screen, has a 16-megapixel sensor.
realme 9 Pro+ 5G comes in three colors: Sunrise Blue, Aurora Green, and Midnight Black. The Sunrise Blue incorporates a Light Shift Design that changes color from light blue to red when exposed to direct sunlight.
The 4,500mAh battery supports 60W SuperDart Charge, which can achieve a full charge in 45 minutes. The realme 9 Pro Plus arrives with Android 12 out of the box with realme UI 3.0 skin on top.
Other specs include 5G connectivity, dual-band WiFi, Vapor Chamber Cooling System, Dolby Atmos Dual Stereo Speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, X-axis linear motor, and Dynamic RAM Expansion for up to 5GB virtual RAM.
On the other hand, the more affordable realme 9 Pro features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with an FHD+ (1080 x 2412 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, offering crisp visuals and a smoother scrolling experience.
realme 9 Pro's triple camera setup on the back has a 64-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The selfie camera has the same 16-megapixel sensor.
It is equipped with a Snapdragon 695 5G processor by Qualcomm and is paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.
realme 9 Pro 5G packs a larger battery capacity of 5,000 mAh with support for 33W Dart Charge. It also runs on realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 OS.
Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 5G connectivity, dual-band WiFi, Hi-Res audio, 3.5mm headphone jack, Liquid Cooling System, and Dynamic RAM Expansion for up to 5GB virtual RAM.
