Epson has launched the PU-series, a new suite of high brightness laser projectors ranging from 6,000 to 10,000 lumens.
According to Epson, these projectors are designed to provide the "flexibility and convenience" necessary to meet a broad range of requirements and deliver "bright and true-to-life images" in various vertical markets, including corporate, education, and digital signage.
Superior Image Quality
These new models, which feature Epson's proprietary 3LCD technology, deliver brilliant and accurate color reproduction for bright and vibrant projections. The absence of the rainbow effect also ensures a more comfortable viewing experience during presentations in conference rooms, public exhibit displays, or event-related digital signage.
With a high contrast ratio and 4K enhancement, these projectors are capable of delivering crisp and clear images down to the smallest display, creating an immersive and mesmerizing experience that will captivate audiences. Additionally, these projectors support HDR10 and Hybrid Log-Gamma for more precise detailing of light and dark graduation content, enhancing vibrancy and contrast for optimal display.
Compact, Powerful, and Maintenance-Free
These projectors are compact and lightweight due to the revolutionary 4-in-1 laser package, saving storage space and simplifying installation. Moreover, its laser light source provides up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free usage. Additionally, the optional ELPAF63 external air filter extends the interval between maintenance visits in dusty environments such as shopping malls, exhibitions, and museums.
Easy Set-Up and Management with Epson's Software
The Epson PU-series projectors include an integrated Near Field Communication (NFC) function that works in conjunction with the Epson Projector Configuration Tool. This intuitive application enables users to efficiently verify projector information, perform a diagnosis, configure the network, and change projection settings even when the projector is turned off. This is accomplished by simply placing an NFC-compatible smartphone over the projector's NFC mark.
This new application enables simple management of up to 100 projectors, significantly reducing required time and effort, considerably improving turnaround time, and increasing process efficiencies.
Further, system integrators will benefit from the Epson PU-series' Open Web API. It enables the use of simple commands to control the projectors, simplifying integration with the end user's existing systems.
Flexible and Easy Installation
The Epson PU-series is compatible with Epson's extensive interchangeable lens lineup, enabling projection on curved and corner surfaces, as well as borderless multi-directional projections with 360-degree rotation – all without sacrificing image brightness.
With the motorized lens shift and wider lens shift range, users can easily adjust position, brightness, and color. The increased lens shift range aids in optimizing adjustment precision. At the same time, the newly adopted stepping motor performs highly precise adjustments when using projection techniques such as edge blending and stacking to accommodate a wide variety of projector placement options. Even for ceiling-mounted projectors, adjustments can be made via remote control or over a network to improve usability.
On top of that, the ELPFP15 extension fitment, which can be attached to the ELPMB67 mount, enables applications with high ceilings.
Additionally, the PU-series' Simple Stacking feature enables stacking via a remote controller from the OSD menu rather than via a PC or Wi-Fi router. This allows in-built processing for PC-free stacking without the need for external equipment, resulting in cost savings. This simplifies and expedites the process while reducing installation time and manpower requirements.
In addition, the ELPEC01 is an optional external camera module that can be easily integrated with compatible Epson PU-series projectors. This supports auto color calibration and Geometry Correction Assist for Tiling and Stacking functions.
