Ragnarok Online Ascendance has officially launched in the Philippines, Malaysia, and Singapore. The game's server went live on February 23, 2022, at 2 PM GMT+8.
Ragnarok fans and players can relive the nostalgic experience of the classic PC MMORPG. They can register an account via the official website (https://ro.gnjoy.asia). The game client (with a file size of 2GB) is available to download via https://ro.gnjoy.asia/download/.
Ragnarok Online Ascendance Official Launch Events
Event 1: Change to 2nd Job Event
This event runs from February 23 to March 8, 2022. Players who successfully change their job during the event will receive a Treasure Box.
Change to 2nd Class
- Hunter/Bard/Dancer
- Knight/Crusader
- Priest/Monk
- Blacksmith/Alchemist
- Assassin/Rogue
- Wizard/Sage
It is recommended to sell the Treasure Box, a miscellaneous item, to NPC using a Merchant class.
Event 2: Reach Level 99 Event
Those players that reach level 99 first in their respective classes will be rewarded with an exclusive costume (99LV Archbishop White). There's a total of 18 prizes for this event. The 18 classes are Knight, Crusader, Priest, Monk, Assassin, Rogue, Hunter, Bard, Dancer, Wizard, Sage, Blacksmith, Alchemist, Gunslinger, Taekwon Master, Soul Linker, Kagerou/Oboro, and Super Novice.

Official Launch Livestream Schedule
The official Ragnarok Online GGH Facebook page also posted the schedule of the game's Official Launch livestreaming hosted by their Community Manager (CM) Somi:
- February 23 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM
- February 24 at 7:30 PM
- February 25 at 2 PM
- February 26 at 2 PM
- February 27 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM
Prior to the official launch, Gravity Game Hub (GGH) held a "Countdown" livestream discussing topics about the Official Launch, Ongoing Events, Upcoming Events, and addressing some of the players' questions.
According to CM Somi, there will be only 1 server upon launch. Moreover, she added that don't condone bots, RMT (real money trading), scamming, and macro programs. They will take action against those who violate their Terms and Conditions.
Multi-client is allowed but only up to 2 clients, said CM Somi.
The server version is Renewal Server, which starts at Episode 14.2. Along the way, they will reveal all the plans via a roadmap.
To recall, Singapore-based Gravity Game Hub (GGH), the official subsidiary of Korean game company Gravity, first announced in 2021 that it would launch Ragnarok Online in Q1 2022 on the PC platform in the Southeast Asian (SEA) region. Ragnarok Online Ascendance initially opened its pre-registration event with rewards in January 2022. It held a closed beta test (CBT) from February 10 to 14, 2022. Following that, the official release date of the game was revealed.
