PUBG Mobile releases new Santorini 8v8 TDM map

PUBG Mobile has partnered with Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) to release an all-new arena map based on the stunning Greek island, Santorini.

Santorini, shaped by ancient volcanic eruptions, is renowned as the Aegean Sea's crowning jewel and remains the most famous Greek destination for international vacationers.

The new collaboration incorporates the world-famous, scenic island town into PUBG Mobile's new "Santorini Arena Map," including the island's characteristic blue rooftops, whitewashed homes, high and low cascading streets, and incredible ocean views for players to explore and enjoy.

The Santorini Arena map features eight-vs-eight team deathmatch battles. In 8v8 Team Deathmatch (TDM), players have infinite respawns and earn 1 point for each enemy they eliminate. The team that accomplishes the elimination target first within the time limit wins.

Meanwhile, in 8v8 Arena Training mode, players may pick up any weapon at the spawn location without having to configure a loadout.

The new Santorini 8v8 map may be accessed by selecting Unranked and Arena from the Mode Selection menu.

PUBG Mobile is known for its massive collaborations, but this is the first time the developer has partnered with a government entity for an in-game feature. Further, the free-to-play battle royale game will receive another significant collaboration later this month as it partners with the popular manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. There have been no details released about it so far.
