HoYoverse has announced that Honkai Impact 3rd 5.5 Update is set to release on February 24, 2022. The version 5.5 update dubbed "Equinox Gate" brings new battlesuits, seasonal events, and more.
Two New Battlesuits
Bianka is the first-ever Valkyrie to feature dual forms.
Bianka, Schicksal's strongest Valkyrie, transforms into Palatinus Equinox in the v5.5 update. The black and white forms depict the two powers that run through her bloodlines: The black comes from her paternal Kaslana family's Active Honkai Reaction; the white comes from her maternal Schariac family's holiness. Their combination enables her to surpass both the Active Honkai Reaction and the origin of Honkai.
As the first IMG-type Physical DPS character, Bianka can freely switch between Knight and Guardian forms. The Guardian form, clad in black armor, is capable of defending while stationary or ramming with the shield raised. When the black armor takes the shape of a steed, Bianka transforms into a Knight, capable of walking, trotting, galloping, and sprinting. She can perform a Special ATK while sprinting in the Flash state. Finally, her Ultimate is massively damaging since it is guaranteed to Crit.
Along with Bianka, Rita, the other guardian of the bubble universe, has acquired her own Astral Harness: Spina Astera. This MECH-type Fire battlesuit embodies her unique heroic spirit and her signature grace.
Events
A Post-Honkai Odyssey will reach a conclusion with the return of Squad 3's powered-up Mei and Carole. Dea Anchora and Silverwing: N-EX will receive new qipao outfits, which will be available both with and without glasses.
Players will be able to obtain the latest S-rank battlesuit Spina Astera and a slew of other rewards through a series of login events and Spring Treasure.
The release date of the Honkai Impact 5.5 update is February 24, 2022. The ARPG is available to download for free on Google Play (for Android), Apple App Store (for iOS), and the official website - honkaiimpact3.hoyoverse.com (for PC).

Besides these in-game updates, Honkai Impact has released a winter sports-inspired animated short video titled "Winter Memories" on February 15. Moreover, Honkai Carnival - Fandom Celebration 2022 will kick off on February 26. For players on the Europe & Americas server, make sure to attend the anniversary program on February 20 to celebrate with one of the game's founders, Dawei.
